Holy shit, this arc has really no brakes at all. Another amazing episode. Gintoki, Takasugi, Katsura and Sakamoto... I think any scene that involves this 4 automatically becomes 100 times more awesome. The comedy at the beginning about interpreting was amazing, especially because even Takasugi joined in. I laughed for a solid minute at that part. Gintoki and Takasugi's rivalry is my favorite rivalry in any anime I have seen so far. I love their dialogs in this episode. The gorilla definitely knows how to write dialogs. The fight itself was nothing amazing, which it wasn't supposed to be, but the interractions more than made up for it. Shinpachi is such a brave guy, he deserves more credit than he deserves. He has been running around fighting none stop on Sadaharu's head against very dangerous opponents. Props to the megane kun. I love the comparison of old friends and new friends for Gintoki. It is a really nice touch, that emphasizes both Gintoki's bonds with his old friends, and his bonds with the Yorozuya.

I figured this would be a great addition to our tradition because my son loves foxes and my daughter wanted to name her Elf Pet Winter. It just seemed perfect. The problem is that within the first day of having it, the charm on the necklace was cracked. I figured I would just tell the kids not to touch it anymore (which seems to defeat the purpose of it), but they were receptive. Today, my niece picked it up to high it and when she did, the charm completely broke.
